Devin Barrett of The Washington Post sheds light on a new Justice Department report, which contains misleading information on the nationalities of terrorism convicts in the US. CNS’s Director, Karen Greenberg, concludes that the DOJ’s report “intentionally confuses the threat of domestic terrorist attacks with the number of foreigners, by increasing the number of foreigners." In doing this, the DOJ is effectively vilifying foreigners, disregarding the tougher statistical standards that should characterize government reports.
