“General: Up to 900 ISIS fighters killed in battle for Mosul” CNN

Eugene Scott reports with contributions from Peter Bergen and Milena Veselinovic that between 800 and 900 ISIS fighters have been killed in the operation to take back Mosul.  An estimated 3,000 to 5,000 ISIS fighters remaining within the city and 1,500 to 2,000 ISIS fighters are on the outskirts. The UN Human Rights Office has reported  that ISIS executed 232 people in Mosul on Wednesday, October 26th and has been bringing “tens of thousands of men, women and children from the outskirts of Mosul...to use them as human shields.”
