"Clinton's plan to stop ISIS: Hunt down its leaders" The Hill
Hillary Clinton would focus on eliminating the leadership of ISIS, including its leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, if she won the White House. The push to go after the leader of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria comes after Clinton promised to provide "significant resources" for her proposed "intelligence surge" in the region. According to The Guardian, the Clinton campaign is discussing various aspects of the intelligence surge in an effort to establish framework for the program that includes “balancing acts” between privacy and security. Clinton's effort to establish intelligence sharing mechanisms with Europe was also lauded by Karen Greenberg, the director of Fordham Law School’s Center on National Security, who called it “a logical evolution” in foreign policy.
